Vasilisa Lipatova (VASA), Creative Director and co-founder of V+V ArtLegacy — SpaceAtlas sculptor, Stroganov Academy graduate, works held in the State Tretyakov Gallery, based in Orange County serving Los Angeles

“My sculptures, together with the texts that accompany them, aim to leave a lasting emotional impression: memories of dreams, moments of joy, and a sense of inner harmony. I see happiness not as an abstract idea but as a deeply personal internal state — one of the fundamental goals people seek throughout their lives. Art does not offer fixed answers; it serves as a reminder that states of harmony and fulfillment are generated within each individual, not imposed from outside.”

— VASA (Vasilisa Lipatova)

VASA is an Artist Bridging Monumental Sculpture & Contemporary Art

VASA trained in monumental sculpture at the Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry (2012) and completed a contemporary art program at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA, 2020). Her practice centers on the SpaceAtlas series — large-scale steel wire atlas sculptures since 2020 — alongside conceptual public art, site-specific installation, and Techno-Bio kinetic works. Over 70 exhibitions document this practice.
